Carol Herrman- Owner
Carol has been in Early Childhood Education for 45 years and worked as a preschool Director for 35 of those years. She was born and raised in Richardson and is a lifelong member of St. Luke’s Lutheran Church. After graduating from Richardson High School, Carol received her Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education at Brookhaven College and then went on to get her Bachelor’s in ECE from North Dakota State University (Go Bison!). Carol opened GAP in August of 2019 with the help of many but especially her two daughters, Andrea and Kara.
Kara Wimer- Director
Kara was born and raised in Richardson and now is raising her two children here, Oliver and Penelope with her husband, Colin. Kara has been in Early Childhood Education for 8 years and spent the greater part of those years teaching. After receiving her Director’s Certificate in the State of Texas in August of 2022, Kara has moved into the office full time to assist the Owner/ her mother, Carol.
Andrea Herrman- Music Teacher & Chapel Leader
Andrea has always had a love for music! From school choir, church choir, band class, guitar & piano lessons, to karaoke and playing with her band on the weekends. Andrea (Andie) loves sharing her love for God & music through all kinds of instruments, singing and dancing!
